Preschool STEAM

Mondays 10:30 AM

  • It’s a preschool story time with a STEAM focus!
  • Hands-on activities, games, and basic concepts of science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
  • For kids 3-5 years old.
  • Active parent participation is encouraged.
  • This program lasts for 45 minutes.

Elementary STEAM

Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday @ 3:30 PM (September – May)

  • Hands-on activities, games, and concepts of science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
  • Ages 8 and under will require either a parent or older sibling to attend with them.
  • This program lasts for 45 minutes.

Traditional STORYTIME 

Thursdays10:30 AM

  • Introduce young children to books and reading at our morning story time, held weekly throughout the year.  
  • Each week, stories, songs, and movement activities are adapted to match the ages and attention spans of the children attending.
  • Parents learn how to foster early literacy skills (talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing) in their children.
  • Library staff will answer questions about books and library services, and teach parents how to interest their children in books.
  • An adult must remain with their children.
  • Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • This program lasts for 45 minutes.

Reading Buddies

Every 1st and 3rd Saturday @ 11:00 AM (September – May)

  • Young and beginning readers are encouraged to read with the aid of one of our teen volunteers. They may read to the volunteer or have the volunteer read along with them so that they can develop their literacy skills.
  • This program lasts for 45 minutes.

LEGO Club

Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday @ 3:30 PM (September – May)

Every 1st and 3rd Saturday @ 10:00 AM (All year)

  • Build, explore, and collaborate with fellow LEGO enthusiasts on a creation of your own!
  • Ages 10 and under will require either a parent or older sibling to attend with them.
  • This program is open to all ages.

Make It Take It Saturdays–BYOP

Every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

BYOP–Bring Your Own Project and be creative @ your library!

Knitting, Crocheting, Scrapbooking, Sewing, Painting, Coloring, etc.

  • Relax in a welcoming environment and share ideas and stories as you work on personal projects with the support of fellow knit/crochet, Scrapbooking, Sewing, etc. enthusiasts.
  • All ages welcome.
  • Join us for a fun morning and afternoon of sharing, learning, teaching, and fellowship.
