If you are a teen interested in helping the library as a volunteer, apply now! Sign up to help with events, shelving, prize pickup, and more. Registration for summer volunteering will close on June 1st.
Teen Time
Grades 6-12
Tuesdays @ 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Check out books, chat with friends, meet new people, study, read, or play games at this weekly event you won’t want to miss. The best part is, the library is open just for you teens only!
Parent/guardian permission is required to attend Teen Time. Permission slips are below, or feel free to pick one up at the Library front desk.
Teen Book Club

1st Tuesday of the Month

Middle school readers are invited to join the Bennington Public Library’s Teen Book Club! No sign-ups required. Happy reading!
Teen BLAB
Grades 9-12
3rd Tuesday of the month
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Join us any month for Teen BLAB (Bennington Library Advisory Board)! Meet with other teens to plan, market, discuss, and implement teen programming ideas. Community service hours are awarded for attending meetings.
Youth Art Show
Ages 8-18
4th Monday of the month
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Let’s get this pARTy stARTed! Share your art with the community, be recognized for your talent, and meet other youth artists. Art submissions are displayed in the Library until the following month’s show.
ALL ages are invited to attend the Youth Art Show! Come to meet the artists and celebrate local youth art! If you can’t attend the show, enjoy the art collection on display during the month!
Open Art Studio
All Ages
Tuesdays @ 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Let the creative juices flow in our Open Art Studio! Each week the library will provide the art materials and space for artists to create. We welcome all things messy and creative! Participants can take their work home, or keep it at the library for display!
